This store is in need of some good old fashion cleaning. Floors, walls, tables, restrooms, everything is very dirty. My question is if the customer seating area is this dirty, then what's the food preparation area like? I would NOT recommend this store to anyone.

I had lunch here yesterday with my family and it was a terrible experience. Not only did it take 15 minutes before our drink order was taken, our fries were burned and my burger had mustard on it when I clearly indicated that I did NOT want mustard. They appeared short-handed and I usually have sympathy but the employees refused to acknowledge those waiting and never once did I see a Manager come out to assist. At one point there was only 1 server in the dining room that was packed on a Saturday afternoon. To take make things worse we could hear employees complaining about people not working past their shift times to help which clearly indicates not only bad scheduling practices but a Manager not in tune with his/her business. No visible leadership in this place.

This used to be the best sns in the area but after eating here today have to go back on that. Place is dirty, really dirty. Burgers were very greasy. Very disappointed. Won't be back. The one star goes to the server.

Oh Steak-n-Shake I miss you soooooooo much!!!!! No one told me that coming out to the West Coast would mean that i would lose you forever! ...it's not ~just~ the late-night memories, or the commercials where you used to flick your lights on and off... Steak-n-Shake i miss your shakes, which were sweet and frothy like i imagine heaven would taste if if put it in my mouth, and i miss your steakburgers, which always took forever to make but was always worth the wait!!! Give up the stubborn act and get your @ss to CA, for the good of your countrymen!!! (and please grace the fair town of Phoenix, AZ on your way out, those people need you too)!

Love it......and the best shakes in town. Always open, and good selection of more than just burgers. Known for their burgers, chili and shakes. Try to explore more of their other selections.

I absolutely miss this place. Nothing like a late night and cure your hang-over kinda food. Anyways the shakes here I miss so much. The burgers everything. I guess there's certain things that will grow on you when you live in the mid-west and this is one of those things.
